Hi! I’m a native Austinite and have always been a playful, creative person. When I was young, I loved passing the lazy summer days away by drawing or writing (or swimming!). But I have Essential Tremors, which means I shake. A lot. So I decided at a young age that art would have to be a hobby, and I did less and less of it as my tremors got worse with age.

Then one day, many years later, some friends and I decided to paint along to a Bob Ross video. It was challenging but fun and I decided to keep painting.

Driven by a daily art practice that began on Mother’s Day 2024, my work explores the intersection of intuition and texture. I’m drawn to the moody, organic details of the natural world—incorporating biological elements and layered acrylics to create pieces that feel alive.
